I have just moved to Singapore. It has been two weeks and I have not climbed. Feeling like I need get back on a wall. Can anyone recommend some climbing walls to do some training? I currently live in the east coast. So local would be better.

Thanks

Hi! I have no idea where to climb but I just moved here about three weeks ago from the US and brought my climbing stuff. If you find out where to go could you let me know? I would love to get back on the wall as well, it's been awhile and I am excited to get back.

Cheers

is there equpment to use there? I don't get my climbing gear until Monday, it is currently at the airport customs waiting for me to move into my apartment.

Also, do you go often? if so we can set up some climbing dates.

I have now tried out two locations in Singapore. Kinetic and Onsight.

My findings are as follows:

Kinetic, appears to be more/better organised with the routes listed on their webpage as well as clear indication what routes are new (on the web page). The marking is also a little bit easier, they mark the route with a coloured tape. The start and end are marked with a chevron and the route itself with a single tape. That makes it easier to follow. Unfortunately they have a limited number of coloured tapes and therefore used combination such as blue tape with a small red dot or a small yellow stripe. This sounds like a good idea but I found that it was slightly confusing, as the small dots or stripes are not easy to see. It only works fine if climbs of the same “difficulty”

I forgot, yes equipment is available for rent at both locations.

Hi. I have offically gotten my gear. I have lacrosse practice on Saturdays but Sundays if you want to climb I am in. I don't know the area very well so I would need directions from the Somersert MRT. Let me know if you are up for some climbing. My personal email is [email protected]

I googled rock walls in the area and there is one on Orchard Rd. BorderX, has anyone heard of it? Their website does not say how much it is to climb there. I may check it out to see what it's like. Again, anyone want to go climbing let me know.
