2nd Hand furniture of Expats

Hi,
we are looking forward to move to Singapore in about a months time. We don't knot yet if we take furniture or not. I dont really like the idea of buying another set of furniture. So, I was wondering if there is a online 2nd hand furniture marked as there are so many Expats coming and going all the time?

check the classified at the top of this page, also the classifieds in the local birdcage liner for garage sales. You can also check the following periodically and they got some good stuff that constantly changing....

from what i have seen, a lot of expats come to 'fully furnished' apartments, and rarely buy much, unless they are here for the long haul.
And those who do buy normally run a garage sale and disappear .. nobody is going to 'display' and sell as you are asking ..
oh, most second hand stuff end up at Salvation army, and that's a good place to start ..
and they do sell them, and lot of stuff are really as good as new ..

They also have a warehouse that you can visit and make offers on the furniture prior to auction directly with the owner.

Beside buying, you can consider leasing furniture as well.

I'd second expatauctions.com. I outfitted my whole house from there.
GREAT bargains. They have just undergone a management/owner hand-over. But they've been amazing in the past and no reaosn to expect it to change.
