I'd like to learn Mandarin (I already know a little bit) and/or to improve my English.
In exchange, I can teach you French.

I just joined the forum today, I know a little of french which I studied during my high school. I also took a beginner level french in Alliance de francais. But haven't used the language after that, so it kinda diminished and back to square one.

I know good English. I have been a language trainer(English) in my previous jobs. Could we talk/write to improve each others language abilities? Please reach me at ab1sh3k at gmail dot com.

I am 28 years old and from the UK, I have been in Singapore for just over a year.

I studied French at school but havent spoken any since then. I would really like to improve my French and be able to hold a conversation.

I live close to town near Dhoby Ghaut.

Emile, a little advice. You won't learn much with language meet-ups. People are unreliable and don't consistently show up. You'll learn slang and bad grammar and pronunciation.

Much better to invest in lessons with a specialised language school or get private tuition from someone who can teach you the basics correctly and then build from there.

Je m'appelle Cheryl, et je parle un peu de français Ma grammaire n'est pas bien, alors je voudrais practiquer le langue avec toi, s'il tu plaît.

I live at the NUS Campus in Kent Ridge, near Holland Village so if it's convenient we could meet up! I speak English as a first language and Mandarin as a second, so I might be able to help you a little bit with your Mandarin as well as English I've done French up to E6 level at Alliance Française de Singapour and also at NUS, although I would like to continue learning French outside of NUS as I don't really like the system of being graded for a language... As you can tell my French doesn't really sound natural and it's a little bit forced, so I'd like to be able to iron that out if I can!
