Singapore Expats

Hey all,

I'm moving over to Singapore next month for a permanent transfer within my company. I will be moving alone so I'm looking forward to making some new friends over there!

I've done a bit of improv acting and would like to see if there are any theatre or improv groups around.

Also looking to learn Mandarin, so anyone willing to exchange some Chinese for English would be good too!

Hey Neil

I only learn to speak Mandarin after I arrived in Singapore. I am Chinese born Indonesia and never got the chance to learn the language.

I was being relocated as our company - Australian company has more projects here.

I might not be very good at the language but still can survive here.

Welcome to SG!
I occasionally organise small get togethers on a Friday night. There are also the WNDC (Wednesday Night Drinking Club) and FNDC (Friday Night Drinking Club) gatherings every week. All are a great opportunity to socialise & network here

I'm planning another Friday outing in the next week or so. So watch this space!
