Hi All

Finally its happening! After what seems like an age - I'm moving to Singapore on Sunday.

I'm 29 (only just!), F from London and I'm moving to a country where I don't know anyone, not a single soul.

How's it going?

I'm having a mixture of feelings really. I'm really excited but also quite apprehensive. The thought of leaving my friends and family and starting afresh is more nerve-wracking than I thought. Although, at the time it seemed like a good idea!

I hope your nerves are holding up better than mine! I hope your move goes well as well.

I'm a t 25/f from London. I've been in Singapore for 7 months so could do show you around a bit although I have to admit I haven't done all the touristy stops yet so maybe we could do them together?
You will love it here, everyone is really friendly. I must warn you that if you like a drink the prices here will shock you! London ain't got nothing on Singapore when it comes the cost of drinking!

I was in the same position you guys are in now 2 months ago. Moved from London, didnt know anyone and thought why!!!

Got into the swing of things now and enjoying it, still trying to meet more people so you dont feel too lonely! if you guys want to meet up that would b e good.

Another meet-eat-drink event open to all....
Meet at the recently-opened Holland Village MRT control centre (service booth) at 8pm (Circle Line).
On to somewhere to eat (depending on numbers we can try for a restaurant - alternatively there are a couple of good food centres there).
Thereafter late night drinks (either in Holland V or elsewhere, depending on preferences).
Anyone welcome to join!
Would be great to meet some new people... as well as catch-up with a few familiar faces maybe?
