Cheap Balcony Furniture

Can anyone recommend somewhere to pick up cheap balcony furniture in Singapore? I've looked at Ikea, but they have nothing particularly useful (all coffee tables or odd-shaped things) for my requirements.

Essentially I want a round table (maybe 1m diameter) and 2-4 chairs (could probably get away with 2 cheapo folding chairs from Ikea and 2 that match the table, as it's only me and the missus most of the time).

I've been here about 6 months and still can't get my head around Singaporean websites - none of them have prices on which means I spend more time clicking "back" than I do looking at the designs...

I'm looking to spend 2-400 dollars (ideally at the low end). Most of the major ones I've seen recommended (OHMM etc) seem to charge about this per chair.

Has anyone used the furniture sales that I've seen online? Would they be worth a shot? I can't be bothered to get a cab to go there if I find out the prices are still astronomically high. Any advice/experience would be welcome.

Cheers.

This set:

was for ~$S680.
You can buy 2 chairs and a smaller table what should fit into your budget.

they have basically the same one out at the ubi avenue balinese timber warehouse for, I think it was $400. It was cheaper than 680 anyway. We bought the extendable eight seater with eight chairs for 1000

If this is the place I am thinking about they advertise in many web pages showing a great choice of furniture but in reality what they have in stock is rather limited - got disappointed once, not going to try them again.

yeah, they have a lot of dodgy web pages leading back to the same company. I've been out to their warehouse a few times. I think their stuff is really well priced compared to most places in Singapore. They have a lot of furniture there that we thought was really nice for the price.

They don't have a lot of outdoor furniture. just a couple of sizes in a couple of shapes, but they do have almost that exact table.

Hi, I know its a bit late to comment on this, but I also would like to know where to get cheap balcony furniture.

I'm looking for a sun-lounger or daybed for outside. Or a sofa set etc. max spending would be around 1000$.

All I've seen so far is 1800++ (although its ok for what you get, its too expensive for us!) And I thought here near at the "Made in China" spring I could find some cheap stuff that is sold for 3x more in Europe! :?

Also, we bought this fab set of Teak balkony furniture 4 chairs and a table, but I cant find any pads for the chairs! Anyone an Idea? Here a pic of what I'm looking for (max price 20$/pice).

Outdoor furniture does generally not come from China, but Indonesia (and to a lesser extent Myanmar).
Despite being in the neighbourhood, quality is usually low and proces higher than in Europe. I guess it has to do with economies of scale - far less people here have a garden or terrace (and those that do are rich enough not to worry too much about price).

if you don't mind, you can look for 2nd hand furniture. There are people relocating and willing to sell at cheap price.

Or Google around and you should find few online classified in Singapore.
