I'm curious.

I have a distant relative who has just had breast implants, and yet no one is 'allowed' to say anything about it/them.

We do our best not to stare at them, but it is not always easy as she has gone from peas -on-a-drum, to C-cup bazookas and she is clearly very proud of them.

I was wondering if this approach is used to all people who have plastic surgery. Do you proceed as if they haven't has surgery and yet their appearance has somehow miraculously changed, but, er, you don't say anything about it?

Sorry... I'd have to say, "great tits"... although most implants look rather ridiculous.

Its a culture thing, most of my wife firiend in thailand does a lot of surgery, nose, eyes, brest etc ....... I only let my wife do botex and nothing more thats my limit.

LOL if it were my family it would become a running joke for YEARS. There would be no family get together without mention of it, I am absolutely certain. Boob jobs are hilarious.

The subject implantee is a c.23 year old Maluyu bimbotic SPG emigree to Europe. Who's stated 'role model' is Victoria Beckham. I know, god help her.

I suspect the truth of it might be that she has such a shallow self-image that pointing out her $10k tits look pretty good, and haven't somehow just magically appeared on her chest, might trigger further consequences.

Right well I asked the wife who gave me that resigned squinty look and asked who I intended to offend 'this week' !?

According to her if you're a very close friend then it is ok to know about plastic surgery and to share. Otherwise it is 'common courtesy' to pretend like nothing has happened.

Well here's what has happened, and the top comment on the pic on Facebook is I quote, 'BOOBIES!'. Difficult to pretend like nothing happened!

Well, it's just boobs. So what if she had them enhanced to help with her self-image? It's her body, her boobs and her money.

Unless you want to ask about the pricing and the satisfaction with the job, I believe it's better to ignore it. But if you want to fuel her quest for body perfection, then go ahead and compliment how good looking she is with the new silicon implants. Then ask if she's going next for the cyborg look.
