Working at home as a freelancer, quite tricky to meet new people at times, I'm a great cook and love to host dining parties so please drop me a line to make it happen. Thanks!

Hi all,
Thought I'd add my interest to this thread - male, 40s, attended my first forum event on Friday night and really enjoyed it, happy to meet with other 40-somethings for a drink/dinner after work.
@applefan: I love to cook too, don't do enough of it, and if you hear of anyone doing a Thai or Nonya cooking course of an evening please let me know
Cheers, Andrew
Looking to meet new people to hang out

Trust me, if you want something organised, you have to take the initiative and start organising. Because, no one else will do it except yourself.
State date, time, meeting point and list out those who say yes.
You can check out Sunday brunch gang and WNDC and FNDC and see how they run.
And when start doing that, names start rolling in

Hi,
Did anyone manage to organise another event or a get together for us 40 plus year olds as yet? I don't know whether many will be out of town for the CNY. Would love to hear from anyone who wants to catch up over the weekend. Would Chinatown be worth going to on Sunday evening?
