Hi there

I moved to Singapore two weeks ago from Dallas. I am originally from Europe. I am a visiting professor at NUS. I would like to expand my social circle in Singapore. I like dining out and travelling. I hope that I can meet people with whom I can enjoy my time here.

I have been in Singapore for 6 months now and still looking for friends.

I am posting this invite on several of the new comer’s threads, because it might be easier to meet up as a group rather than one on ones.

Spontaneity will rule here. I propose to meet at a wine bar on Friday (30 Dec 2011) night at 7 pm. The place will be central, along one of the many Quays. If you are interested, please indicate so in the thread and mail me at [email protected] by Thursday night. I will mail you directly with the location.

Not sure we're up for a wine bar (I'm 8 months pregnant), but we'll try. Can you send details?

Also, we live right by NUS (my husband is teaching there). PM if you'd like to meet up another time on/near campus.
