well.... u shldn't try to lose weight too fast... moderately would be good... losing too much weight too fast is not good for the body, u could jus be losing the water...

in my opinion, i wouldn't say slimming pills dun work... some do, u jus have to sure how does each kind of slimming pill helps... better are those that help u burn fat and absorb the fats as well

Just a few notes on fat loss supplements:

Most fat loss supplements contain a little caffeine because it can potentiate the other ingredients. Also, caffeine can be a decent metabolism booster and performance enhancer.

However, ever since the ephedrine ban (remember the old Hydroxycut and Xenadrine formulas?), some supplement makers are using a boatload of caffeine, not because it helps you lose fat, but because it jacks you up and makes you think it's accomplishing something because you'll be able to "feel it." These products cost less than 80 cents a bottle to make and often sell for over $100.

Since no one will pay that much for caffeine, other names for caffeine or caffeine-containing substances are used on the label:

Guarana Extract

Paullinia cupana

Brazilian cocoa

1,3,7 trimethylxanthine

Yerba Maté

Green Tea Extract

Kola Nut

If that's all that's in your fat loss supplement, most likely you're being duped by a "padded" label.

Lesson of the day: do some research before buying any products. :D

Hi,

I don't mean to say that you should stay away from supplements that contain any of the the above mentioned ingredients.

Caffeine does help in boosting metabolism and enhance performance. However, when you see supplements, where the bulk of the ingredients are caffeine or caffeine-containing substances, you might as well take a few cups of coffee. Ceaper and works the same anyway.

With that, a product that I'd recommend would be HOT-ROX or Farenheit. It does contain caffeine, but in small amounts.

Again, I'd like to repeat that no amount of supplements would make up for a crappy diet and lack of physical activity.

In simple words, caffeine just dehydrate you so your weight will drop, and you seems to have "lost weight". Right?

Hmm.... Not really...

The extra caffeine added to these supplements makes users feel they are "charged up" and have the extra "energy". While this is true, it only tend to mislead. Caffeine works to an extent where it "perks" the person up, but not directly aiding in fat loss. (Fat loss occurs due to calorie restriction as a result of diet/exercise. Period.)

I think what you meant was the diuretics that are typically added to fat burners. Although these are usually claimed on the label (as they should be since it’s the law), the ads seldom tell you why ingredients like
dandelion root, damiana, sarsparilla root, buchu leaves, couch grass, corn silk, uva ursi leaves, and juniper berries are added.

I'll tell you, though. They’re added so you’ll piss off a few pounds of water the first week and think that you’re losing fat.

Many of the so-called topical "fat burners" on the market are nothing more than localized diuretics, giving you temporary results (if any). And sadly a lot of people are falling for the hype.
