I've got three or four boxes of personal effects that I want to ship from Houston, Texas to Singapore. Ocean service is fine... cheap is more important than fast.

Can anyone recommend a shipper that will take pieces for shipment?

LCLs ie less that container loads are not cheap and not fast.
It will be better if you can do a container load with someone else you know and trust who is heading the same way. LCL loads are non priority and move only when the container is filled up. But anyways,, find out from your houston based shipper as any shippers in Singapore will know less comprehensively of the locals than your guys there

Check with the post office. Most of the time, LCLs (Less than Container Load) shipments are more expensive than postal rates.

I'm in the business of shipping personal effects, and would suggest you try the post office if your boxes are not too heavy, as there is usually a minimum charge if you do shipping, and your volume is way below the 'miniumum' such that even if you shipped 20 boxes, your charge will be the same as that of 4 boxes.

Thanks... boxes are too large for the post office. It turns out that the cheapest way to get them over here is to pay an extra baggage fee to the airline.
