Singapore Expats

Hi

End of Feb our family and some friends are planning a long weekend away. The idea is to hire a villa big enough to accommodate everyone (2 sets of parents, 4 kids and 2 helpers), ideally in a resort with a pool and stuff to amuse the kids.
I know that Bintan has lots of such options but i dont have a full page left in my passport and so cant get an Indonesian visa. As such it looks like Malaysia is our best option. We'll drive so ideally looking for somewhere in the Johor region.

Would be grateful for any suggestions that anyone might have.

Not sure about Villas in JB, but in Desaru (still counted as JB) there is a place that has 4 bed apartments and a water park etc, we went there and it's not too bad, depends what you are after! I'd avoid the school holidays, it apparently gets mental.

Other than desaru, you can check out islanda such as tioman or langkawi in msia.
