The classified section give a list of service providers. It is not particularly useful in terms of personal recommendation. Taking an entirely hypothetical example, one might be dissuaded from engaging a headhunter whose website consistently misspells 'résumé'. However, if that individual were highly recommended, one might alter one's view.

Just because an advert or recommendation is 2 years old doesn't mean it isn't relevant does it? Definitely one for the books.

The laws of physics may be immutable, levels of service are not. People retire, die, rest on their laurels, change their phone numbers, jack up prices, etc. etc. It is a fair assumption that someone with a limited number of posts has a limited number of Singapore contacts and hence no real way to tap into current knowledge save for using forums like this one. I found my dentist through the search function actually. It is rather good, I agree - but not infallible.

as far as i know, he's a licensed electrician and plumber but he doesn't do plumbing work unless you're a "regular."
