is there 1 year mobile contract ，which one is better ?

i have 1 year project since next month in SG.

Better for what?

Telecom Service quality is general tops on Singtel.
Customer Service quality sucks on all of them.
M1 is generally the cheapest, but also the worst for the two above.

If you have a MOM issued work permit or pass, you can get one of the post-paid plans. Singtel has what they call "Sim Only" which is no contract. (technically it's a one-month contract, meaning if you cancel in the first month there is no pro-rated refund)

If you don't have a work permit or pass, you need to buy pre-paid SIM cards. If you're not using data, this is probably your cheapest option.

how about starhub ?

My experience with Starhub and their data service is terrible. Frequent outages lasting hours.

Their voice service was fine.

I still recommend Singtel if you value service quality the most.

It is 3 months, voice only, minus data, and 6 months, if you opt for mobile data.

Never had that 1 month thing dangled in front me ever ... or they charge an arm and a length that they are ashamed to talk about it.

I had sim only with Singtel for a one month contract when I got here. It was a sim-only version of whatever their iPhone plan was. Kept that until 4S came out.

The official name of the month to month contract at Singtel is "SuperSIM" plan

Same price as the iphone plans but with double minutes and SMS, but you have to provide your own phone.
