Problems with Fiat Cars

Hi peeps, just wondering if anybody drives a Fiat and has problems with it? My sibling bought a brand new Bravo less than 2 years ago but the engine light has been illuminating every 3-5 months. Every time we bring it back they check and link it back to either the oil or some other parts. It's SO irritating. Any one has similar encounters?

Fiat = "Fix it again, tony!"
Sorry, I have nothing more constructive than that to add to this thread.

That's hilarious and I couldn't agree more! Wouldn't recommend any one to get this Italian brand.

A chum had a prang in one and it took 3-5 months to repair, fiat didn't carry the parts here, it occured during that time of year when the whole of Italy heads for the hills, Everything shuts down for a month then takes about another month to get back into full production.

don't you know what FIAT stands for: Fix It Again Tony!
That about says it all, although this is an old saying for the older model FIATs- not sure if it still holds true...
lol- just saw that another poster mentioned this above too!

I had a FIAT a few years back and it kept on having all sorts of problems. In the end I just scrapped it because it just wasn't worth the hassle of taking it back to the garage every few months. I've never bought one since and can't see myself getting one again in the future.
