Hi everybody, I am new in the city and I am used to do a lot of Kitesurfing and if there is not enough wind I like to practice Surfing and SUP (Stand up paddling). However there are not always the best conditions for these sports in Singapore I will travel around and catch some wind and waves. So if anybody is interested to practice or learn with me I am more then open to it and I can bring you to places I know or you can show me your spots, where is good to kite around here. Looking forward. Aloha

When I first saw your post I though SUPing was a club or organization that goes out to eat a lot.

Thanks for tip. I will check it.
And SUPing and eating? Why not, after good session on SUP you will be really hungry.

There's another club, Water Venture just further down the road from Mana Mana. It's mainly a windsurf club but many kiters there as well. They go over to Bintan pretty often to kite or sometimes drive up to Malaysia over the weekends during the monsoon season. Couple of people SUP there too when there's no wind.

Hi iggyzuk!
I also just moved out to Singapore. I've surfed a few times in the past, and am really interested in going on some trips and getting better. I've also been pretty interested in stand up paddling so that could be fun too
If you decide to take a few trips and want someone to go with you let me know. Unfortunately I don't have any knowledge about the area I can share with you, but let me know if you figure anything out!

Hi All,
I'm new in Singapore, and also want to find a spot to kite and a kite-buddy. I have some experience and my own equipment.
I want to check out Desaru (Malaysia) at the end of the month - anyone tempted? I don't think there's many hiring shops, so you must have your own kite.
Or perhaps meet somewhere on the East Coast and see whether the wind is good enough???
Cheers,
James

Hi James,
nice to here another kiteboarder is coming to Singapore. All my kites are unfortunately in Hainan at this time. Anyway we could meet some time on the East Coast and speak about some kiteboarding.
Cheers
Iggy
