Hi, Can you please direct me to bus companies' websites that shows bus numbers and route maps around the east coast? Is the bus system in Singapore easy to use?

PROTIP: SBS and SMRT.

not sure about the maps, but if you go to gothere.sg then it will plan your route for you!
bus companies are SBS and SMRT for your information, check them out through google!
So lazy lah!
Yes, bus system is easy to use in Singapore!

Thanks for the PublicTransport link Aster! I've added that to my links page in my signature as well, under the heading "Car License / Ownership / Public Transport", with some of the other links (including your second one that's already there.)

Yes, bus system is easy to use in Singapore!
Yes, I use this all the time: You can drill down and see all the stops and schedules. Very good resource.

Can't you split of a section of links titled 'Public transport' because as it is you think Car Licenses well that's not it and I don't know where to look. But if you had just public transport on it's own it would be much clearer...

Had to change it as I realized you are right. We have a lot of masters holders here and you know we have to make it as easy as possible for them.....
How do I make a rollover that will automatically open the site in a new window and read their mind so as to highlight the right heading for them?

No prob, glad I could help.
When I switched from the MRT to bus travel I needed some maps to research my usual destinations and how to get there, and these proved really useful.
That links page you've put together should be the first page that all expats in Singapore have bookmarked as it contains a wealth of knowledge just a click away.

Actually to be honest, I wish I have seen that page when I first came to Singapore. In fact, I only clicked on this link for the first time after spending one year in this forum! (and that was after SMS himself prompted a poster to refer to his link for certain question - I just followed suit for the fun of it).
SMS, you could consider making your link MORE ATTRACTIVE or MORE OBVIOUS so that your hard work of compiling all that info could be put in full use. Just suggesting...

Lynx, like it's contents, it can always be updated. Any suggestions? My hit count is already astronomical according to my webstats. I'm not an advertiser or marketing or sales person. I'm more like "what you see is what you get" kinda guy!

The FF vs IE emoticon is cute but in that position it might be confusing/a distraction. You could spell out the link is a link....
