Singapore Expats

Hi,

I am a new driver - recently passed my driving test and plan to purchase a car (second hand). Not too many insurance companies who will ensure new drivers - only know of NTUC.

Do you know of any others will be helpful for comparitive quotes....- thanks.

P.S. I have not held a driving license prior to this in any other country.

i know this reply is a little late BUT...

NTUC is not the only company that would insure a newly licensed driver... but your premiums might vary with different companies, so shop/call around.

having said that, many used car sales persons would be able to provide a variety of insurance quotes for the car you want to buy.

sometimes it is even mandatory to buy insurance through the used car company/sales person...
