Hi All,

I am an Indian and working in Singapore since 2007 and I have applied for PEP last week after completing 2 years of P2 pass .

Below is my educational /career summary.

1. Master in Computer application.

2. I was Working under 'S' pass (Feb 2007 - Mar 2010), My Salary was enough to get the P2 pass but my company only applied now 'S' pass.

3. Currently under P2 pass( April 2010 - Till now) - Working in investment banking and monthly salary is more then 6000 $/month.

I just wanted to know what are the chances of getting PEP.

PEP? Probably not too good. I've not seen anybody in recent months getting PEPs unless they are in the P1 category. I know what they say but again, as we keep reminding people, they are only guidelines. The MOM is not required to grant it even if you are "qualified". Best thing I can say is try. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. However, if rejected, appealing isn't going to do too much good, unless you P2 has been upgraded (along with the money) to a P1 of at the very minimum of 8K/mo.
