Hey all
Just after some advice/ knowledge...
I moved here not so long ago and am here for the foreseable future... looks like im goin to miss all the music festivals back in england this summer... I usually go to glasto, V festival and one or two others depending on what the line ups are.
Been doing some digging around and trying to find similar types of festivals in singapore (or surrounding areas ) with no such luck (apart from one in KL a few months ago that i missed).
Anyone our there a fstival gower and if so please can u tell me of any decent ones coming up that u may be aware of.

ah,you've already missed Laneway and Mosaic which happened in Feb and March.
Now Singapore arts festival is coming.
Besides that,Music Matters is a music forum/festival for you to check out the bands in this region, also some bands from US/UK/Australia,etc.
Besides that you can also catch Jesus and Mary Chain on May 26th
Hot Chip in June,The Kooks in July and Passion Pit in Aug.
Also baybeats festival end of June.
That's all I know right now.
Feel free to PM me for meetup:D

i get what you mean,as i usually spend my summer days in Chicago for Lollapalooza.
but, maybe not for this year though.
so i gotta find something alternative too but just no Lolla.
If you wanna feel something like Glasto, the closest you can get maybe FujiRock in Japan,I guess.

Baybeats 2012?
My son's band had performed there in 2007 and was asked for a return engagement in 2008. (Caracal). They also played the Beijing Music Festival in 2010 & Montreal Int'l music festival last year.
