Is 'Brunches' even a word?



So yes, birthday girl, mid-teens, loves pizza, but not everyone loves pizza so somewhere Italian but serving other things (and a glass or two of wine for me) would be nice.

Anyone been to brunch at either Prego or Pete's place? I've been to Pete's place for the normal weekday lunch buffet but not the brunch.

Anywhere else that would be Brunchie but pizzerie (are either of those two real words?)

I have tried Peperoni pizzeria. Nice place, great food, good price. And they have pasta, wine and many other items. I totally fell in love with their Pancetta and d'Parma pizzas.

Opens from 11am on Sunday. Have few outlets in Singapore.

Been to Pete's Place for Sunday Brunch and its not bad to be honest.

I think they have a credit card offer too, but best check that first.

Thanks guys. I've booked Pete's for brunch. I do mean to check out Pepperoni soon - there is a branch near me in Frankel Ave, but we wanted something a bit fancier for the big birthday meal. May try Pepperoni next weekend.

I will post back after we've been to Pete's brunch and let people know how it is for future reference.

Check out PizItalia located at East Coast Seafood Centre, serving pizza, pasta and seafood. Sunday breakfast buffet also available.

Pete's place was pretty good - didn't seem very Italian though and only one kind of pizza going that I could see (maybe you have to ask to get different kinds, but I didn't ask as I wasn't eating pizza). Quite a bit of seafood (crayfish, anchovies, prawns, salmon.......that kind of thing). Decent dessert section. Not too bad for the price.


Pizitalia - I went there once, it wasn't too good. Service was.........hmmm....haphazard at best. Not very organised. I think they're catering more for bored parents with small children than anyone else.

I can't remember the name, but the place in the Regent (Basilico?) is fantastic.
