Singapore Expats

Hello

I'm moving to Singapore early next year from Texas for work. I'm Chinese but spent many years in US. Moving to Singapore is exciting, but also nerve racking, because everything will be started from scratch. I found this forum online, and thought it would be great if I could meet some friends first. I'll visit Singapore in September and December to find housing and finalize the move, any advice would be appreciated. I look forward to meeting new friends here!

I'm British and have spent the last 7 years in teaching - then in education management in London. Decided on a gamble and a change.
