Why buy large bottle of Vinegar in Singapore

I use Vinegar around the house for cleaning and as a fabric softener. I need a clear vinegar in a big bottle--have only been able to find Rice Vinegar in a 750 ml bottle. I'm looking for something at least 4 L large. The white vinegar I've seen comes in very small bottles.
Any idea?

The biggest I've seen is 1L in Cold Storage. They call it "artificial vinegar" here. It costs a little more than $1/L.

Yes, I saw the "artificial vinegar" here as well--wasn't sure if that would be the same--you are saying that is essentially the same as white vinegar for use in cleaning etc.?

It should be. Acetic acid is the active ingredient whenever it's used as a cleaning agent. White vinegar is just that--fermented organic matter without any additives for flavor.
(FYI: fermentation-->alcohol; leave it to ferment too long-->acid)

Yes. Maybe it is popular in Asia as it is 'halal', whereas I expect vinegar contains traces of alcohol?
