Hi friends....I am LTVP holder. My husband is SPR.He is a self employe and earning 3.5k per month.

My sister got married and settled here...she is SPR(got PR before 13 years ago). Her husband and two daughters are SC.My sister applied LTVP for my parents Because as a LTVP holder i cannot apply for them.but today ica rejected both applications(for my mother and father)without mention any reason.

My sister is going for night shift work, salary around 2k(including cpf).her husband is in abroad.she mentioned in the application that her two daughters who are going to schools(elder one secondary 3 & younger one primary 2) are feel very lonely and she need her parents to take care of them..

So my question is can we get letter from our area MP and can go directly to ica to meet officer(ie interview room)?what is the procedure to see the officer?how can we get an appointment?Though my husband is a SPR can he do anything to support this application?

Friends.DId any one of u face the same situation before or did any one of u get successful LTVP for your parents?

Please advice me...

Thank you.

Your salaries are a bit low, and judging by your username I'm guessing they're from India. Sorry, SG Gov is trying to lower the number of new incomers to the island, and they're doing that by rejecting such applications en masse from certain countries, and in particular from India.
