Hi! Have just recently moved in to Singapore. Currently working in the Communications/PR industry. I'm 34 and from the Philippines.
Is there anyone out there who would love to talk about movies? Possibly TV series? Books? Traveling?

Hi ampy,
OOQ here, I'm a lady was well, in my first few months here in SG, I learned to something I never had to do back in my country... That is to watch movies alone in the cinema. Of course now Ive met new friends to go to movies with, but sometimes I still go alone if none of them fancy the ones that interests me.
what genre of movies do you like?

Everything still seems to be on Xmas/NY break still, started watching New Girl. Quite a good laugh.

i think it's pretty alright to catch a movie on your own anyways you're supposed to be quiet at the theater.
i only love those interesting movies,im rooting for Wes Anderson,as always!

Interesting movies? Cloud Atlas, perhaps?
IMHO, really epic piece and beautiful to boot. Brilliant and passionate acting by the cast in their multiple roles.
It is one of those films that you really need to pay attention from start to finish though. Or watch it a second time.

That's what I did last Sunday with Les Mis and Silver Linings Playbook...
Wept like a real man in the first movie (you can hear all the sobbings all around), and became slightly bipolar after the second for two days...
Kinda need something like that.
