I was under WP 10 years ago somewhere 2002/2003. I was caught taking other people ATM card was imprisoned for 3 month and was deported back to Malaysia after 2 month.

Before this I was using Limited Passport for Malaysian (blue color). Now since I have changed to new red color International Passport.

Now, I would like to visit singapore again, for social visit and maybe business meetings. I am unsuree whether I would be banned from entering Singapore or not for the crime i commiited.

I called ICA, the customer service cannot give me any answer and ask me try to enter and see how.

I dont want to take the risk, is there anything i can do or do you think i will be barred based on my case?

In my opinion no. IF your record needs to be set straight to allow you to enter a country, then once it is done, you're set to go.

Your best bet is to go to www.ica.gov.sg and check that for yourself, as rules change and you best know your precise personal circumstances.

This would be the 1st step. Since I am using different passport this time as last time it was Limited Malaysia passport, I will declare truthfully on the white card.

Will it make things complicated I try to cross before I make appeal, as i do not know my status?

In my opinion you will be allowed in for a limited period. I don't see any reason to not to simply attempt to cross. The ICA will have access to your records online. You can't really appeal unless you're turned back at the border.
