I've said it many times before - you lose nothing by trying.

Whatever you do, don't lie about it as they'll run a background check on you anyway. (Not saying you were planning to but...well....just in case).

I agree. Exercises in futility are great character builders.

Perhaps try this thread - someone in a similar situation. The general sense is that, for minor misdemeanors you could have a chance.
