New years eve

Hi all, does anybody know the best plan for new years eve?
I know Sentosa have a beach party but I would like to see out the celebrations in Marina bay. Would it be possible to go Marina bay for the fireworks then after go to Sentosa?
I'v only been here a week so still settling in and getting to know the place. Also I'm by myself and anybody else fancy doing something for new years then feel free to come along!
