Got my approval letter!!
About me: UK Passport holder, Caucasian, 27yo, degree, working in SG on EP for 5+ years, married for 1 yr to SG citizen (local grad, originally from PRC), SG citizen baby girl.
Applied for PR after having my baby. Approval in 2 months. Approval letter states eligibility to apply for citizenship in 2 years.

I've been a lurker on this board for quite a while! Thanks to all the regulars for their insight on the application procedure and criteria

Congrats!
Did you apply independently?
OR
Sponsored by your Singaporean Wife?

English probably not Greenry82's first language, as he missed the fact that you mentioned "Applied for PR after having
my baby." A husband would have more than likely said either "our" or "after my wife had our baby".
Nevermind.

Haha, it's an easy mistake to make! Plenty of local ladies married to ang mohs but not so many the other way around

I wouldn't be so hard on Greenry82.
SMS, you have a terrific eye for detail to spot that "my baby". Also a nick "AlexAlex" doesnt help either.
Edit: After googling a bit a learnt that Alex can also be a female

But then again you would need to be a western to know that.

Could have been Alexa Lex as well. That way the nick could have been for a couple as well. I played with the nick for a while when I first saw the OP's original post.
I actually knew of at least one other AM/WF couple personally, as I hired her for our company. But unfortunately, she didn't stay too long.

Thanks!! It's a pleasant surprise to get the outcome by CNY

When I submitted the application, the officer told me to expect the outcome within 4 to 6 months.
Btw, it's Alexis. Everyone in SG usually answers, "Huh?!"
