Singapore Expats

Hi there

I am working and living in Singapore as part of a 6 month secondment for work. I have been here 4 weeks and have been lucky to be introduced to some lovely people. However, I would also like to meet new people while I am here, to go for drinks with, do some sight seeing etc

I am also hoping to get some weekend breaks always to Thailand and some other places, so any tips would be great

I've moved to Singapore from Bombay about 3 weeks back and shifting to my new premises this weekend. Been a little hectic trying to get the basics right and just getting settled in

I enjoy a drink and also am open to seeing the Southeast Asian belt over the weekends. Would mind hanging out for a beer or two over the long CNY weekend.

I arrived here tuesday from the UK and havent been anywhere but work yet. Im hoping to go and have an explore this evening before for the fireworks. But I have no fixed plans as yet.
