Scottish bird seeks decent boozer :)

Hi I'm here in Singapore for a week and will be coming back to live in April.
Met some really nice people already and was just wondering if there was anything good on tonight because I don't fancy staying in!

The Penny Black down on Boat Quay has nice guinness...
Meeitn someone this evening but am free over CNY if you fancy a evening drinking and exploring. Pretty new here myself. I'm Irish.

Hi Irish Mark,
I've been here all week, flying back tomorrow so tonight would be my last jolly. I can always give you a buzz when i'm back though. So far i've found the bar of 1000 whiskeys and enough places selling Strongbow to keep me happy
Just need the decent boozing company now!

If you do go to the Penny Black you can ponder that it was where Nick Leeson got himself arrested for mooning a group of SPGs who were out on a Friday night fishing*-expedition.
* fishing for expat banker-types.
p.s. Any of those pubs down there will be heaving on a Friday night.

I'm always down for hanging out and drinking with a Glaswegian! I used to frequent Glasgow a fair bit...many a drunken stupor was had on Sauchiehall St and at the Arches.
If you bring me back a can of IRN BRU I'd be even more grateful!

I found it once at the Cold Storage by my work. I bought like 10cans of the stuff and have never seen it since! One of them exploded in my freezer!

Well, I don't know about you, but in my case its The Penny Black, bit really a bar though, more of a pub, although even thats stretching it a bit...
