As semi official host for the night, I went ahead and booked some space at the lovely Wine Company in Sentosa Boardwalk (Bridge between Vivo City and Sentosa). Because of the nice view. And the wine list is decent too.

How to get here -
option 1:
Go via MRT, alight at Harbourfront station.
Take exit C to arrive at Vivocity.
Proceed to Lobby F or follow overhead signs to reach Sentosa Boardwalk.

option 2:
If you drive, go to Vivocity basement carpark, follow overhead directions to ‘Sentosa Boardwalk’. Park near to Lobby F. If car park is full, try Vivocity Multi Storey (up the ramp) or Harbourfront Centre.

Ok great i'm going to hunt a cab now so shouldn't be too much longer! I'm pretty tall and probably the palest person on the island
