Playdates / Playgroup / Mum's Group - Simei - East Coast

Hi,
I am looking for a playgroup or mum's group...for me and my (very active!) just-turned-2-year old boy. We are originally from England, moved to USA (where I had my boy) and have been in Singapore for three months.
My little one is at the age where he does need more social interaction with kids, and I would love to meet some mums and make some new friends.
We live in Simei (Eastpoint Green), so it would be great if anyone is nearby and is interested, then it would be great to meet up with our kids

An idea would be to join the Singapore East Coast Baby & Toddler Playgroup on
www.meetup.com because there are some interesting activities. That site also has other playgroups that focus on other activities for toddlers (gardening, cooking, etc.)

Hi Kirty,
I'm new to Singapore and will be moving to Simei (Double Bay) with my 25 month old daughter next week. I'd be interested to hear if you found any playgroups happening in Simei! We are also keen to make new friends, so please pm me if you'd be interested in meeting up sometime

Okay ladies, it seems as though I need to make a minimum number of posts before I can PM, so am going to see if this now works....
Btw, we have now been here for 9 months. My little boy is now two and a half. We have not been able to join any mum or play groups in Simei, but are still keen on meeting mums and little ones. I thought no one had replied to my post so had given up looking lol.
