Dear Experts,

My apologies if I am starting an answered thread!

I tried searching but could not find any related thread. If the subject is answered, then please provide me the link.

Otherwise, Scenario is as follows:

I am currently on S-Pass, but intend to change to Long Term Visit Pass (not LTVP+), sponsored by my spouse (Singapore Permanent Resident).

May I please know the procedure? Would be checking with ICA too on the subject.

isn't there an application form you need to fill out and submit?

i assume when you quit your job, your work visa will be cancelled and you'll be back on a normal social visit pass. hopefully your application would have been made prior to that point so there's enough time left...

if you're not quitting, why change to LTVP (no working rights)?

You never know until you apply

BTW, hope your spouse meets the 'unofficial' minimum pay scale for LTVP !!!

If you want to apply LTVP, dont wait - just apply now, ICA taking months for processing.

Once you give up S-Pass you'll get only 1 month, sometime ICA is taking many months before outcome hence you will have to leave if still no result.

Hence without waiting just submit online application.
