My husband and I are relocating to Singapore for his job. It's just a 2 year project that he has to work on. Now we're having lots of headache handling our visas and accommodation. We have to rent an apartment and furnish it within 2 weeks. Anyone knows where can we start our search?

Hi Nicole
Welcome to Singapore. Have you settled your lodging and such? Please let me know if you need any help
Cheers

lexxan, why would anybody contact a total stranger who registered just 5 days ago to post their first post as a hustle message like that?

And presumably this help will be provided for free, out of the kindness of your heart? Otherwise we'd have to assume that you were an agent who didn't understand the NO ADVERTISING rule on here.

Hi
Yes I am an agent and I understand the rules of no advertisement. I am merely trying to help.

It's still advertising. You 'helping' eventually means business for you.

sounds nasty...
but I guess at this rate we wouldn't be able to find the ideal accommodation within this week and a half. if anyone can recommend a temporary lodging or short rental stay while we search for the permanent address, we would be really grateful.

Nicole,
I'd suggest you do a search (use the Search button directly above here) for 'Serviced Apartment' or (as some people describe them) 'Service Apartment'.
As you'll imagine, your situation is quite common, so there are many threads with useful information that you might want to search out on this board. Then if you have any specific questions, please post them here and the regulars will do our best to help.
Good luck.

As for furnishing, try IKEA.. affordable & fast & they have a huge range.. go to the store in Tampines as it's bigger..

There are pretty a lot of info here that would help.
Firstly, you may need to sort out your visas.
It will help to open more housing options when you arrived.
