We got married last year (6 months before) & register our marriage in Singapore and our total yearly income of 70k. I have applied PR twice (2009 & 2011) & got rejected .Am paying tax for past 3 years. Am planning to apply PR in Jun'13 What are the chances of getting PR. Need your advise. Thanks in advance

I don't think that is going to help them at all. In fact, it may well hinder them further.

Sorry to say this, but if you were rejected is 2009 there is NO way you are getting it now unless you started making like 15k a month.

Interesting. I notice that people, especially Indians, are following the same format of providing their details while asking PR question

If they have done any research on this board at all, then they will know that there are certain questions we will ask about their credentials before we can give our opinions. So, rather than risk the ire of somebody, they are now trying to use a format that gets them the answer that they may or may not want, but without a lot of the to'ing and fro'ing back and forth. Makes life easier all the way around.

Based on the work I see produced by our offshored Indians, I'm guessing they're all just copying and pasting the same post, changing the least amount possible, to do the least work possible.

Just so they could automate rejection. Parse the application. Does it match the template? FAIL.

My previous EP is upgraded to EP Level 2 and its going to be the first time am paying income tax...maybe that's why it helps in my application...but I just loved my testimonial written by my current employer.... 'highly recomended to apply for SPR' ... lol

No, it's been noticeable for the past couple of months, but I wasn't going to say anything in case they reverted back to the old way out of spite! If something is for the good or you find a loophole, the last thing you should ever do it broadcast it. This is where Singaporeans and most Asians, in fact, drop the ball, broadcasting (bragging) when they find a loophole. It usually gets closed up PDQ. Serves them right.
