Singapore Expats

Hey all you expats and locals,

I have finally settled down here in Singapore with apartment & job and now looking for places to travel to for a nice weekend trip (2 days 1 night -> SAT&SUN or 3 days 2 nights -> FRI evening, SAT&SUN).

Places on my todo list are:
- Bintan / Batam
- Islands in Malaysia
- Hong Kong
- Thailand

note.. this is not the entire list and am always open to new places which I probably never heard of

I am in the banking industry, like new food, new cultures, the beach, good drinks, sometimes clubbing, having a cool time and exchanging ideas.

Hi I am not a beach person, but very much interested in doing weekend trips I am now thinking about Chiangmai/Bintan/Penang... let me know if you are interested!

Hi guys to introduce im 27 f vietnamese. I am ok with both bali or phuket any as long as it falls on weekend and at most 1 weekday. We can fly fri n bak on sunday^^

What do u guys think? If u all r ok we can exchange emails so we can look at e dates n have e flights booked.

Since I read the newspaper last week said that it might have haze in Indonexia again, properly Phuket is good choice for this time and we can plan for Bali next time then

I'm planning to go there in the morning on Friday 30 Aug and be back on Sunday 01 Sep

Do u guys think that 3D2N is enough to explore n enjoy this place?

yes that makes more sense! I will opt for Phuket as well.
Heard from my colleagues that u need atleast 3-4full days to explore places around. 3 days 4 nights would be ideal i guess. What u guys think?

im afraid for me its gonna have to be 3d2n trip, but if others going a day early I can always join up the day after!
