Friday 3rd May Bar 57 at Boat Quay

Hello there FNDCers,
a great night was had by all at the other wine bar, where ten dollar french wines hit the spot. This Friday sees us continuing with the wine theme at Bar 57, a haunt recommended by Vick, in the greatly vaunted drink and consume boardwalk of Boat Quay, where definitely other alcoholic beverages should be forthcoming, together with what may be the next drinking nom de rigeur -- the cheese naan ( $7 ).

How to get there:
1. Take a train to Raffles Place.
2. Exit at Exit G, and walk towards the open area at the UOB plaza.
3. You are in an open courtyard, a salvador dali sculpture is in front of you. On your right, in the distance near the water, you can just make out a sculpture by renowned artist Botero of a bulbous giant canary.
4. Walk diagonally towards the right, where eventually you'll reach one end of Boat Quay
5. Walk alongside the river, till you see 57B. The Wine bar is on the third storey.
