No, surely you need to go via the appointment system. Guess, you can book an appointment which is available now and meanwhile check if there are any vacant slots that come in early due to cancellations by some one else? I think the Appointment system is like hospitals here ..
3PM means, 3PM is not for you only - it maybe for a dozen others as well .. me thinks the system is to avoid over-crowding .. so another maybe accepted if walk in ..
If you are hard up, go and check directly - may work ..

To answer OP's original question, you have an option of collecting your PR card from the nearest designated post office. This option will be there when you book an eappointment for collection, 2 days after completion of your approval formalities. This gives a much earlier date (same month), than the huge wait when going to ICA. Hope this helps.angeltan321 wrote:Hello everyone. And the original question was the long wait for e-appt to complete PR formalities.
