Hi moderators,

Would appreciate if you could advise me on chances:
- Malaysian Chinese (male)
- 26 yrs old
- Married (wife Msian chinese) - ROM in Msia, no kids yet..lol..
- Myself a project exec with a global event marketing company and wife an auditor with medium size firm.
- Been in SG since end of 2009.
- Both combined income of about $64k pa.
- We applied together for the first time in Jan 2012, no filing of taxes yet and was rejected with the letter stating "to resubmit for their consideration in one year's time" so we did again in Apr 2013;
- In my submission i included past 2 yrs notice of assessment and just received my 3rd notice from IRAS recently;

The officer at ICA only took what was updated and those we had submitted was not required as they had records of it.

What you guys think?? :?

I think you should just wait for the outcome. The points are in your favour and you seem to be able to follow their directions, re waiting for a year. The only negative would be your combined salary is a wee bit on the low side still, but all in all, I reckon you will pass muster, but will just have to wait it out.

Good luck.
:wink:

I appreciate your support.

By the way, just a quick one, I recently owned a used car registered locally and COE left with 3.5 years. Will this factor play a part in my application? And I suppose the recent "elections catastrophe" back home won't affect my current application right? hehehe...

Guess that the best thing now is not to think so much of it and just keep my fingers crossed hoping for the best... :shock: :shock:

What was the color of the car? Was it a hatchback?

Hatchback is a plus, but white color is so-so especially if you own a German or Belarus branded washing machine with integrated drier (front loading models only). LGs, Samsungs, Elbas are fine.

Godrej washing machines are a no-no as well, with or without integrated drier. Even less chance if coupled with a retro-bike like the Royal Enfield 350 Bullet.
