Hi all,

Not sure if this is the right place for this question, but can anyone help me? I have a dog and I'm looking for a good boarding kennel to take care of her whilst I'm away on holiday. Can anyone reccommend anywhere?

Thank you,
Ash

Boarding kennels here are pretty dire. I would suggest finding your local dog walker. They will come in and feed and walk your dog daily.

Do they have kennels for bad dogs? Do they segregate them?

We are using Ginny and friends. It's a dog daycare where your dog is free all day to play, CCTV you can watch online and night they go home with the owner. They want to meet your dog first and assess temperament and are very strict on vaccinations and flea stuff. I like them and they have no fear of bigger dogs.

Thank you for the replies. Hannieroo, does the place you're using do longer stays I.e. a couple of weeks? Otherwise I will look for a list of local dog walkers.

Thanks again.

P.s. Brah in Melbourne there's a bad dog boarding school, they go off for months at a time and come back obedient...

I used Mutts n Mittens to board my dog, when I was on a 3 week vacation last year. They are pricier, but took care of my dog well.

Yes, we are booked in for two weeks shortly. If you have a very dog social dog then he'll have a blast.

Welcome.

I don't agree with dog borstal. Train the owner not the dog.

HI Pominoz, have you found a good boarding kennel? would you share it with us?
