Trip to Sydney on Aug

Hey there, me myself is traveling to Sydney for holiday getaways in early Aug. Wonder if anyone here has the similar plan and willing to travel together.
Also since I have never been to Sydney before, if anyone can give any suggestions on cool places to visit or fun stuff to do, or actually anything, i will appreciate it, thanks
