Thank you all who took the time to help me with my survey.
I received some very helpful responses and just wanted to let you know that they are very much appreciated.

I started but gave up. You have an extremely narrow view of why people move/work/stay overseas.

It is your problem, not ours. Now if some people already participated this question or their participation should be made invalid.

I tried, but I'm unsure how to answer this one:
1-2 years
3-5 years
more than 5 years
I've been here 2.5 years.

x9200: Which is why I am so glad getting this feedback now rather than later.

zzm9980: Please only count fully completed years (2 in your case).

Thank you.

There's a salary class in between (in fact a few) local and expat.

There's self employed, freelancer, local + benefits, missionary or other volunteer to begin with. IF you're trying to determine if they are fully found or not (that term will stop your undergrad brain right there) then say so.

That's where I stopped (I came out as a freelancer on a day rate - that's not local and it's not expat but the position was fully found).

You don't have clue of the huge variety of reasons that bring people are out here, that much is obvious. What's even worse is I don't have a clue anymore - the reasons are even more varied than 20 years ago - esp with all the Eastern Euros (ex CIS states) trying to get in here.

Noob.

noob : undergraduate

undergraduate : noob

PNGMK, you presume too much. Add to this, he's a local undergraduate, which only makes it worse. These are the ones who are railing against the gahment but don't really know or understand why.

Now isnt that true for most noob activists anywhere?

OP: survey question #14 is broken! Raiding buttons act up.
