Singapore Expats

Hiya

I'm moving to SG soon, haven't got a clue which part I'm going to or where I'm staying, I think it's going to be somewhere near where the businessy stuff goes on.

I'm 23, male, a Londoner.

I'm in to chilling out with mates (is that even a hobby?), fitness, cars, music.

Really really nervous about moving over because I have never lived outside of the UK before so it's a big thing for me moving over so far from my family and friends.

I should be in SG mid Feb, so wanted to come on here and see if I could meet people before hand.

Hopefully, I'll meet other expats/non-expats who can show me around and give me an insight in to the local area, the do's and don't..you know.

don't worry, a lot of people is in your same situation, the culture shock could be strong in the first weeks, but I'm sure you'll get used to it easily.

As soon as you arrive in Singapore, just send me a message so I can tell you about the evenings that we are organizing with locals and expats.

When you come here, go to Wednesday Night Drinks, and Tuesday night pub quiz if you're in to that. You can find lot of info beforehand, and many people, including myself would be happy to help if you need any specific question answered.

I'm coming out mid feb from UK too excited but don't wanna be a total loner so if any one can recommend some fun stuff to do to make new mates let me know!
