EP is the way. PEP is a weird hang on from the old Professional Pass days and the only reason you'd need it is to find another job without leaving Singapore if you lose your job. It's utility is very limited. I removed your double post.

I’m not sure if providing a household register was an option in the past but they have always asked for birth cert during SC application. It has nothing to do with approval/rejection.

I'm in talks with my current employer to move to Singapore - I'd prefer to apply for a PEP (I meet the criteria) even they could offer EP as that would give me more flexibility on the job market once there.

Next alternative is LTVP -> PR. But your spouse has to be working in SG to .....

You won't need to do NS.

Firstly find a job that can provide a work permit (hopefully a EP not an SPass). Work away at it and after a 3 years start applying for PR. If you're married you can apply under the family ties scheme which may be easier esp if your spouse is Chinese

I think it is supposed to be shared among both country agencies.

We employ FDW directly without agency so that the FDW need not have any pay cut.

In general, dividends, even foreign sourced dividends, are not taxable in Singapore but after reading through the complexities of Danish tax law, I'd say you've got a whole 'nother set .....

Bare minimum is her business is filed with ACRA, all income reported to IRAS for income tax, voluntary CPF contribution. You gotta give ICA something to work with.

If they can’t find any income or CPF contribution, then yes, it’s a huge red flag that warrants rejection.

Now the insurance company after a few months comes back and tell me they have no records of me as a customer and therefore no refunds can be issued. So the massage company has decided to discard all customers records in order not make any repayments. Be very very careful. These companies work .....

Huh? You didn’t check the PMLA at all? Doesn’t the PMLA gets routed to you to check after the SC applies?

I clearly remembered when applying PMLA and LTVP, ICA will request for additional documents if SC declares they are self-employed.

Don’t play around by omitting .....

I think change policy. They might have internal points system which is not disclosed to public. With your profile have you ever think migrating to AU ot NZ. I got friends there within 5yrs got their citizenship.

You didn’t state if you’re working, age/race of yourself + spouse-to-be, whether your spouse got any black mark with ICA, what country he/she comes from. If he/she on work permit, did you apply permission from MOM to marry?

I had a similar experience with Royal Caribbean – felt the ads promised more than what was actually on board.Genting Dream, on the other hand, was more satifying for me.It has waterslide, a good variety of activitie, and better service.The vibe is more relaxed too, especially for families.

It is not that difficult to find units that accept cats. Most units accept dogs as well. Just depending on the owner's preference. Just specify you have cat before viewing to save your time.

My friends used KNT movers and were happy with it.

Since I applied, there were two changes that I had updated the ICA about:
- Fixed salary increased to 25k
- Promoted to a leadership role .....

On a side note look at the partner airlines of Virgin Australia's Velocity FFP (it's the one I mentioned is the only program in the world that allows you to pool status miles/points).

Emirates is another one where the family can pool miles (if going to the US East Coast, there are some decent routes through Dubai. One stop to London isn't terrible either, although worse than a direct flight). I don't believe the kids get "kicked out" after a certain age, but I'm not 100% .....

Racial quota is against you. Time spent in Singapore is still too short.

PhDs doesn’t guarantee anything, I’m afraid. I’ve seen PRC PhD holders who are research fellows get rejected for PR.

I’m also in STEM. Unless your research is so groundbreaking that it cures .....

Pretty much. Once your child turns 16 they are de-linked from your account.

They also don't need parental permission to sign-up for KrisFlyer if they are already 16 years-old.

One scam that I've come across frequently (albeit overseas) is one where I'm called that I have some unclaimed Bitcoin. It must be done on a large scale because I've had a few dozen calls (less nowadays), ale all the time it seems to be someone else calling and you can hear some background .....
