Hi
we are planning to move to london next year and looking at UK private schools or International Schools. We are thinking of trying for co-Ed schools like Highgate, Alleyns or ACS Egham international.

My kids are currently 11 ( boy) and 9 (girl)and in Singapore local schools.

A few questions in my head and looking for advise from those who may have moved between Singapore and London:
1. Will it be a difficult transition for my kids?
2. What are the pros/ cons of international vs UK private schools?

My daughter has had quite a few friends move to the UK for school. I recommend Cheltenham ladies college for the girl. I don’t have a great recommendation for boys, maybe someone else will be able to help you like with that. The school is a boarding school but I think they have a day option as well. The transition should be pretty seamless, they are both relatively young and the school environment in the UK is known to be significantly less rigorous and intense than it is in SG.
