Singapore Expats

Hello all! We are relocating to Singapore in September, and would like to join or form playgroups for my 32 month old daughter and 8 month old son (either separately or joined works). My daughter has always had playgroups and loves it!

Pebble Bay condo operates one - (East Coast) every week in their function room. Not sure if it is open to non-residents of the condo though, as I don't attend, - just see the gathering. Management phone number is +65 64405817 (though I find their management pretty ........ ) So maybe when you arrive, ask parents who live there.

Hi there are a few on the East Coast but new one started last year on the premises of Chatsworth International School, Jalan Tembusu off Haig Road. I attended last term with my boy and he loved it. Has a lot of variety, including crafts, music, outdoor play etc. Quite relaxing to and good way to meet mothers with children similar age. Its for tots around the age of 1yr up to around 4 yrs. I am setting up a playgroup class in east coast area and would like to know whether there are people living in this area who may be interested to attend . Ages 10 months to 3 years. It will be held in Tanjong rhu road and there will be qualified speech and drama teachers to conduct. Playgroup starting in April 2009. Please respond if interested , it will be a chargable class at roughly 15$ per session of 1.5 hours.

We go to a few playgroups on the East Coast. In a small expat community its a great way meet new mums and bubs.
One of our favourites is Rosemount Kindergarten's Playgroup, just near Siglap Center. We are there most Wednesdays but they have a Thursday group too.
Each session there is a ton of activities and ringleader to keep the kids occupied

We 'Club Mosaic" are starting classes in tanjong rhu rd for art, yoga for kids , dance , speech and drama in end April /early May. Call if interested and book early as there are limited seats per class . Call 63446575 or email me to get an early booking . Fee per head per class is S$20.
