Hi
I have recently arrived in Singapore and am a single mum with a 3.5 yr old daughter. I would like to enroll her at Overseas International School however as a working mom cannot fetch her at 3.30pm when school closes. School holidays will also pose a problem.
Does any one know of where she can be put in after care until around 6.30pm each day and during school holidays or where I can get a nanny.
Thanks

Are u looking for after care in a partcular area of Singapore?

A lot of Childcare/ kindy's provide after care for kids upto 10/11.
I know atleast one but if i put a name it will probably get deleted, its by the holland village, initials CHDC, i think they have centres around the city.

Hope this helps. :D

Hi there,

U can get more information from www.childcarelink.gov.sg or

http://app.mcys.gov.sg/web/serv_dss_dis ... od=student

click on the before and after school care.

then search the location desired.

Hi caresha

it must be difficult for you, you must be a tough girl! i tried working and taking care of baby at nights, but it was too exhuasting for me. When i was finding an infantcare for baby, had shortlisted some to recee and pay some surprise visits at the centres. that way, you can see things in their 'natural' state instead of making appointments with the centre.
