Hi all. I moved to Singapore recently and am looking for preschools suitable for my 3 year old son. Can anyone suggest some options in/near river valley road?

My son is a hyper livewire and I need a school that focuses on active learning through indoors as well as outdoors play and sports activities appropriate & safe for toddlers.

I prefer Montessori but am not ruling out nonMontessori schools. As long as the school has a format that incorporates my criteria above, I would be willing to enroll.

I am not driving so the location factor is also important. Sending the son to a school in or near river valley (where I live) would be ideal.

Brighton House Montessori is on River Valley Road - near great World City. I've no experience of the school so can provide no further info other than that it is there!

Sounds like we live almost a stones throw away from each other!
We weren’t terribly impressed with the schools in the area, so we cast our net a little wider.
Our daughter now goes to Rosemount Kindergarten, and we’re super happy with it. We chose it over closer schools because Rosemount has great facilities, the teachers are very switched on, plus it doesn’t have hefty fees. They also offer a bus service, so it might be worth taking a peek to see how they measure up with the other schools that are high on your list.
Good luck with your search and all!

Patoche - If you are living at Treetops I would recommend MMI (Modern Montessori International) for your Short Term Stay for the kids. It's only around the corner from there (literally) and you wouldn't be paying a large non-refundable deposit. My son went there for a couple of months when he was 2 while we were sorting out our housing and they were very flexible.
