Where Could I find a good English course?

My son just arrived Singapore and is currently poor in English speaking reading, he will join Secondary 3 next year, and before that, I would like to find a suitable English course for him to step by step adapt to English education environment, where could I find a good place for that?

just make friends with local people, especially Maylay or Indian.

Why not ask at the
International Schools if any of the children there would 'befriend' your son and spend a couple of hours playing games, going out to Mc Donalds etc - at your expense that way he will becomg more confident and will learn English at the same time..... ??

He can sign up with some courses from the British Council.
Alternatively, you can check out the following website:

There are quite a few activities and events which your son can sign up for. He should also try to make more friends of other nationalities in school.
